Software Quality Assurance and Testing

Role & Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain Test Plan and Test Cases based on functional and technical requirements. Scripts using C#, Java, Shell and SQL for testing & automation purposes.
Execute manual and automated test cases.
Develop programs/utilities to test the business logic of server-side components using published APIs.
Capture and record bug incidents with details.

Skills Required
3 - 5 years of QA/Software Testing experience.
Solid understanding of QA process, QA methodologies and SDLC.
Experience in testing .NET and J2EE based applications and in cross-platform integration testing.
Good Knowledge of.NET, C#, Windows 2003 & SQL Server platform, UNIX, JAVA/J2EEGood.
Good understanding of HTTP, TCP & UDP based communications.
Experience in Test Automation using Mercury QTP a plus.
Experience is Performance Testing a plus.
Exposure to CMM, ISO or other equivalent processes.
BE/BTech/MCA/ME/MTech/MSc(CS/IT).
